REV& | Revontulet

REV& (pronounced Revet) or Revontulet is a Finnish vocal cover group with a heavy focus on performing. We have performed around the country in many different events mainly focused on Japanese pop culture. Our main skill is singing, but our live shows include singing, dancing and acting. We take lots of inspiration from all kinds of media, but our shows are usually based on different Japanese franchises and musical artists.
We consist of a total of 12 members: 11 vocalists and 1 staff only member. Though our roots lie in the Love Live! franchise, we focus on many different music franchises such as Project Sekai, Ensemble Stars!!, Aikatsu, etc.!Revontulet started out as a 9-member Love Live! cover group. The original idea was to post Japanese cover on YouTube, sometimes using our own art. Each member had a Love Live! character from each generation assigned to them. This is still true nowadays, even though we've branched out from Love Live! a lot! Despite still holding LL! dear, since 2023 we haven't considered ourselves a LL! group. Instead, we call ourselves an idol group! We've also both performed and recorded our own Finnish translated versions of Japanese songs, even holding our first fully Finnish live in May 2024!Revontulet started performing live in conventions around Finland in 2019. Because of the pandemic our live activities came to an instant halt, but when we were finally able to come back on stage, we had strengthened ourselves and offered a completely revamped live experience!If you need to contact us, message our Instagram account or send us an email to [email protected] !
